Dwayne Waterman grew up in Brooklyn, New York. As the son of a concert pianist, Dwayne gained respect for various Genres of music. While his peers reveled in the urban music culture of the day, Dwayne was exposed to Classical, pop, country and rap. It wasn't until he moved to Georgia that he realized his passion for the guitar. Dwayne picked up his first six-string in 1997 and has since joined the forefront of the accoustic scene in Atlanta. After successful collaborations with Justin Sonfield of Nillah and Lost July, Dwayne is now agressively pursuing his solo career. Dwayne can be seen regularly at such venues as Eddie's Attic and Smith's Olde Bar displaying his unique style and perfecting his live performance.
